A MINDFUL MINDSET
THERAPY
A Mindfulness Centered Approach
My Approach
I work with individuals from a solution-focused and strengths-based perspective. I customize and tailor each Client's treatment based on individual needs while primarily integrating methods of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
I also like to implement elements of cognitive restructuring, which helps clients redirect harmful and intrusive thoughts, address their childhood “programming”, and modify their emotion regulation. I am also extremely passionate about creating a safe space for stillness by integrating meditation and other mindfulness techniques into treatment. It is my belief that in a society that seems to equate "busyness" with success, having a place to " be", without having to "do" helps us reconnect with our core parts.
Meditating is also a means for you to move beyond your analytical mind so that you can access your subconscious mind. That’s crucial, since the subconscious is where all your bad habits and behaviors that you want to change reside.
